Employees at Belleville’s International Truckload Services are urging the community to support their efforts to raise enough cash to aid one of their co-workers, Lisa Hamilton, to bring her critically-injured son home from Vietnam. Employees are aiming to raise $150,000 to pay for medical expenses and air ambulance services to transport Ryan Gallaher, 35, back to a healthcare facility in Canada. There will be weekly barbeques at ITS on Friday June 11, 18, 24 and July 2 from 11:30 to 1:00. Hamburger or sausage, salad and drink for $5. Raffle tickets for 42” LG plasma TV  and a 10" LED LCD Netbook Laptop and just added 3 tickets for Justin Bieber @ Air Canada Centre. There will be additional weekly raffles at $1.00 per ticket for incredible items donated by businesses within the area. And of course there will be 50/50!

Donations are welcomed and your presence is encouraged. 

The team has organized a bottle drive on July 10th with drop off locations in Belleville at Alarm Systems, 260 Adam Street, and Quinte Secondary School on College Street West, in the front lot. People can also drop bottles at International Truckload Services, 107 Bellevue Drive, anytime. If there are any restaurants out there wanting to donate their bottles we will gladly accept them.
